What is Clam Island?

Clam Island gamifies blockchain investment on a 3D Island with in-game characters that support users through the whole NFT- and DeFi-investment process to make DeFi easy, fun and effective. The platform introduces a Play-to-Invest-model as a Gamification-Standard for DeFi. The Clam Island ecosystem combines Yieldfarming with fully interactive in-game 3D NFTs. The Clam Island team participated in the Filecoin Launchpad Accelerator Programs of Tachyon and is publicly doxxed.

What does Play-to-Invest mean?

On a Play-to-Invest-Platform you play a game to invest in a blockchain project. Unlike in the Play-to-Earn-model, where you have to invest time and skill to earn money, on a Play-to-Invest-Platform like Clam Island you play a game to invest your money and earn returns without having to invest time or skill to earn money on your investment.

How does it work?

Imagine you are on an island collecting Clams and Pearls. Your Clams can produce Pearls. You make a farm where you put in your Clams and earn Pearls. In an easy way – this is how Clam Island works. It has a two-token ($SHELL and $GEM) and two NFT (Clams and Pearls) ecosystem.
